Flattening the floor

After a mammoth effort to remove the two concrete plinths that supported the large electrically power water pumps, the floor of the 1960s building is finally starting to take shape. Our Volunteers have screeded the floor ready for laying quarry tiles. Removing those concrete plinths was always going to be a big job. We have no paid staff here, but all of our volunteers are priceless.
